Fine Scratch Abrasions

STEP 1

Clean surface from dirt and any possible lacquer residue.

Products required:

STEP 2

Stretch a Cotton Cloth tight around your forefinger, dampen the cloth with the felt tip of the Touch-Up Dye Pen and dab abrasions.

Do not apply Touch-Up Dye Pen directly on abrasions.

STEP 3

Fill scratches with transparent Hard Wax (900-Light Transparent) and the Hot Knife.

Using the Blade of the Hot Knife improves spreading of the wax without creating too high an overfill.

Products required:

STEP 4

Remove surplus wax with the Special Filler Applicator.

Note: Sharp grooves on the flat surface, round grooves at edges Shiny spots can be reduced either by using Premium Wire Wool or the Sanding Pad, coarse (inside Applicator).

STEP 5

Seal filled damage area by misting with Special Repair Lacquer from a distance of 12-16 inches – do not spray too wet.
