Most durable for severe damage in high traffic areas. For use on flooring, cabinets, countertops, windows, and doors. Hard Wax PLUS is UV resistant for use in the most severe conditions, including exterior applications.
Hard Wax Plus – 8 cm
Remove any loose or splintered parts and cut damaged edges vertically downwards (artificial surfaces) or rather press round (solid wood and veneer).
Prior to filling, the substrate should be ‘blocked’ and be dry. Use König touch-up products to color damaged edges that are lighter than the base color.
Liquefy Hard Wax Plus using the heated tip of the Butane Hot Knife or Battery Hot Knife and apply molten wax in layers to the damaged area. To avoid formation of bubbles, do not work too hot (Hard Wax Plus is processed in viscous condition). Pressing in the molten wax (slightly cooled down) with the tip of the Special Filler Applicator will decrease adhesion to the damage.
Strip off excess material with the Special Filler Applicator (use serrated teeth on the flat surface and rounded teeth on edges).
Use Special Repair Lacquer Plus (indoors) or Furniture Lacquer PLUS (indoors and outdoors!) or for small repairs use the Brush Pen Clear Lacquer (indoors) to seal and to protect the repaired area from dust and dirt and to adjust the sheen level, if necessary. For aerosols, instead of applying a heavy coat, apply 2-3 thin misty coats from a distance of 12″-16″.
For indoor and outdoor use.
