Scratches On Effect Surface
Remove all loose particles. Clean surface. Use the rounded side of the Edge Planer to press the damaged edges down – in the direction of the grain.
Choose several color shades of Effect Wax that correspond to the surface.
Hold Effect Wax sticks in turn to the hot tip of the Hot Knife.
Important: Do not set temperature of the heater too high.
Let color wax mixture flow into the damaged area.
Due to the transparency of the Effect Wax, areas of larger damage require filling with Hard Wax first. Finally, to obtain a reflective capacity, Effect Wax is added to the upper layer.
Remove surplus wax with the Special Filler Applicator.
Make an intermediate sealing by misting with Special Repair Lacquer from a distance of 12-16 inches – do not spray too wet.
Use the Graining Pen to replicate grain pattern.
Seal the filled damage by misting with Special Repair Lacquer or Furniture Repair Lacquer from a distance of 12-16 inches – a fine mist coat is all that is needed, do not apply a wet coat.
