Small Black Polyester Repair
STEP 1
Remove all loose particles. Cut edges at an angle and slightly sand with 600 grit Sandpaper.
Clean surface.
Light-appearing spots should be pre-dyed with Polyester Intensive Black.
STEP 2
Dip wooden spatula into the mixed lacquer and ‘dab’ drops into the damage area. In case of large damage, just pour lacquer directly out of the cup.
Generously overfill the damage area – the matt paraffin coat which develops must not be touched. Hardening time at least 60 minutes. If lacquer has been dyed, a curing time of 2 hours is recommended, this also applies to repairs to piano parts.

STEP 5
Apply compound paste, AP #1 followed by AP #2. Use a separate Ultra-Soft Cloth (wrapped around felt pad) for each compound level.
Add fine Polishing Paste to the Felt Pad and polish off fine sanding dullness. Use sufficient Compound and Polishing Paste – do not allow to dry during process as lumps may develop and cause abrasions.
Wipe clean with a Ultra-Soft Cloth between levels to check result.
