STEP 1

Remove all loose particles and clean surface. Cut damaged edges straight down with the Edge Planer.

Products required:

Edge Planer
Liquid Sandpaper

STEP 2

Pre-color damage in the substrate with Color Touch-Up and the Squirrel Hair Brush.

Alternate pre-coloring can be done with the Brush-Fix Pigment Pen.

Products required:

Color Touch-Up
Squirrel Hair Brush

Brush Pen Color Lacquer

STEP 3

Choose several color shades of Hard Wax corresponding to the surface (light/medium/dark) and hold wax sticks in turns to the hot tip of the Hot Knife.

Let color wax mixture flow into the damage in the direction of the grain.

Products required:

Hot Knife
Hard Wax

STEP 4

Remove surplus wax with the Special Filler Applicator.

Note: Sharp grooves on the flat area, rounded grooves at edges.

STEP 5

If necessary, grain pattern can be restored by using the edge of the Special Scraper.

For color adjustment and imitation of the grain, use Color Touch-Up or Brush-Fix Pigment Pen.

Special Scraper

STEP 6

Seal filled damage by misting with Special Repair Lacquer from a distance of 12-16 inches – do not spray too wet.

Special Repair Lacquer Plus
