STEP 1

Push the on/off switch forward.

Products required:

STEP 2

Turn the temperature dial all the way to the +.

STEP 3

Place the striker next to the wire mesh and strike.

STEP 4

You should notice a red glow. The knife should be left in this position for about 30-45 seconds.

STEP 5

Now, adjust the temperature all the way to the – sign. Continue to adjust the temperature as needed.

STEP 6

To shut off the Hot Knife, place the cap on tightly and it will force the switch to the off position.
