Description

Heavy Liquid Compound AP1 1000 is a professional-grade polishing compound designed for effective removal of deep scratches, swirl marks, and other imperfections. The formula is user-friendly, allowing both professionals and DIY enthusiasts to achieve outstanding results with ease. It provides a high-gloss finish while minimizing the risk of excessive topcoat removal, making it ideal for professional repairs.

Fast cutting by hand (1200 grit) or power buffing pads (1000 grit) of sanding marks and scratches on high-gloss wood coatings.

For touch-up damage repair, follow with AP2 Medium Compound 2000.

Application

Works exceptionally well with polyester finishes. Non-polyester finishes (e.g., polyurethane, enamel, lacquer) are softer and thinner, use caution and be less aggressive. High gloss lacquer finishes are the most fragile and often the best solution for troublesome scratches and abrasions is to replace the high gloss lacquer.

Use power buffing pads or by hand. Power buffing wheels may be used but they work best with solid bar compounds.

Use separate buffing setups for each compound level, mixing compounds makes the finer compounds ineffective with unwanted results.
